Responsive website, Parent portal, Registration and payment-management tools

01 / The brief

One academy. Three connected experiences.

A youth sports website serves more than prospective players. Families need access to program and account information, while academy staff need tools to manage registrations, athletes, and payments. This project addresses those needs through a public website, a parent portal, and an administrative workspace.

  • 01

    For prospective families

Program information, teams, tryouts, and clear registration entry points.

  • 02

    For existing parents

Athlete information, payment-plan updates, schedules, and invoice access.

  • 03

    For academy staff

Dedicated areas for registrations, parents, athletes, programs, payment activity, and reporting.

02 / The website

A stronger first impression. A clear next step.

Bold sports branding and a strong visual hierarchy put the academy identity first. Register Now and View Programs actions offer clear starting points, alongside navigation for programs, teams, tryouts, recruiting, store, gear and contact information. Parent Portal access connects returning families to their account experience.

The supplied desktop, tablet and mobile screenshots show how the presentation adapts to different screens, including a prominent mobile registration action. The earlier website already had Store and My Account navigation; the comparison below describes visible design changes, not claims that those concepts were previously absent.

Before / After

Before. Earlier homepage with an introductory layout and existing Store and My Account navigation.

Compares visible homepage design only.

Desktop / Tablet / Mobile

Desktop. Current homepage with prominent Register Now and View Programs actions.

Screenshot views, not a live device emulator.

03 / Parent portal

A dedicated place for parents to manage their academy experience.

The parent portal brings athlete information, payment-plan updates, and invoices into one account view. Families can review the information associated with their participation without navigating the public website for every account-related task.

The numbered callouts describe areas visible in the supplied original. Private values have been permanently removed from the public screenshot. Visibility does not establish that parents can edit schedules, cancel installments, request refunds or change payment methods.

  1. 1Athlete and program summariesA dedicated My Athletes area summarizes participation; identifying details are removed.
  2. 2Payment-plan update noticesA notice area presents information about a family's payment plan.
  3. 3Current and revised schedulesSide-by-side schedule areas support review of current and revised payment information.
  4. 4Balance-change explanationsThe adjustment area explains changes to the account balance; private amounts are removed.
  5. 5Upcoming and final payment informationThe original account view includes upcoming and final payment details, omitted from the public image.
  6. 6Invoices and receiptsA separate listing organizes account invoices and receipts; identifiers, dates and athlete information are removed.
  7. 7Account settingsA Settings entry point is visible in the parent account header.

04 / Behind the scenes

Behind the scenes: tools built around academy operations.

The administrative workspace gives staff dedicated areas for the records and payment workflows involved in running the academy. Its dashboard brings key categories into view, with navigation to the tools used to review and manage them.

A visible menu label demonstrates an interface area, not every possible action within it. The screenshot does not establish automatic reconciliation, accounting synchronization or specific security certifications. Financial values and operational counts are removed rather than presented as project outcomes.

  • 01

    Registration and relationships

Registrations, parents, athletes, and programs have dedicated navigation areas.

  • 02

    Payment oversight

Payment activity, payment plans, paid-in-full records, and invoices are visible interface areas.

  • 03

    Exceptions and adjustments

Custom plans, failed payments, refunds, coupons, and extended-season tools appear in the staff navigation. The case study does not offer or simulate these controls.

  • 04

    Reporting and administration

Reports, email previews, admin users, settings, and handbook areas support academy administration.

  • 05

    External payment tools

KURV and Authorize.Net are visible external-tool shortcuts. Deeper integration behavior, automatic reconciliation and accounting synchronization have not been verified.

05 / The journey

From program discovery to ongoing account visibility.

These experiences support different stages of a family's participation: discovering programs, entering registration, reviewing account information and following payment records. Staff use a separate workspace for academy administration. The sequence is a conceptual overview, not a verified technical data-flow diagram.

This project also illustrates how payment experiences and business software can support the same customer journey—from registration to ongoing payment visibility. No processing rates, quantified savings or provider guarantees are asserted, and a family's payment-plan discount is not merchant-processing savings.

  3. 03Review athlete and account informationUse the dedicated parent account experience.

06 / Delivered

What the project brings together

A coordinated public website and account-workspace experience, described through delivered capabilities rather than unverified growth or performance statistics.

  • A consistent branded experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Clear paths to explore programs and begin registration.
  • A dedicated parent account experience.
  • Payment-plan and invoice visibility.
  • Administrative areas for academy records and payment oversight.
